2017 RYLA Participants Shared Stories

Posted on Oct 10, 2017
The 2017 RYLA participants attended our regular meeting to share stories about their camp experiences.
RYLA is the Rotary Youth Leadership Academy that the Rotary District across Montana (District 5390) sponsors. The program took place in July of 2017 this year. The Bozeman Noon Rotary Club continued its commitment to award young leaders camp tuition. The camp is one full week and available to Montana high school students who are Freshman as of the Spring of 2017.  Applicants must demonstrate strong leadership skills. Here were just a few of the students' inspirational quotes from today about the program:

The program taught us "how to help others become the best version of themselves."

"I learned a lot about myself."

It is "really living with a Service Above Self mentality."
